Interior Décor Consult was found by Victoria Gofman-Wallingford offering residential interior design services in a greater Indianapolis area and video consultations nationwide.  

Victoria’s approach is based on an understanding that home interiors are designed foremost for the people who live there and not just for the house. As such, she places a great emphasis on learning about what clients want and need to feel happy in their house. To accomplish this, she developed a proprietary tool, interior diagnostics™ consisting of eight questionnaires covering lifestyles, personal preferences, home and family functions, long-term plans, concerns about environmental health and accessibility, financial considerations and other parameters that help create a comprehensive picture of clients’ needs and tastes. Armed with this information, Victoria can spearhead the design process with precision and efficiency, avoiding spending time (and clients’ money) on guess work.  Interior Décor Consult is, probably, the only interior design firm in Indianapolis that offers such a complete assessment.

After earning a Certificate in Professional Interior Design, Victoria worked in the field for a decade before pivoting to a different professional arena. Among her accomplishments was the publication of her design in the Window Fashions Design & Education Magazine. Her projects often included one-of-a-kind furniture made by local craftsmen who collaborated on her designs. She also developed and held interior decorating seminars for the public that received high accolades from the participants.

Victoria’s aesthetics were formed and refined by her multidimensional education that included a graduate degree in humanities, immersion in diverse cultures, and exposure to fine European art and architecture. Her academic background enhances her ability to communicate with clients leading to a better understanding of their desires and needs. Her clients are always heard, understood, and receive the service they need.

After living for more than twenty years in Anchorage, Alaska, Victoria is happy to call Fishers, Indiana home. Interior Décor Consult is ready to inspire, create and bring more beauty to your life.
